Bradford Academy Takes on Sports Relief

Hundreds of pupils at Bradford Academy got the chance to run a mile with Bulls legend, Matt Diskin, in aid of Sports Relief.

Pupils at Bradford Academy were today joined by Matt Diskin as they played their part in raising money for Sports Relief.

Around 100 pupils across all years ran, jogged, walked and danced a mile with the former Bulls captain and current Assistant Coach, raising almost a thousand pounds.

Matthew Todd, PE teacher and head of house competitions, commented: “I always look forward to coordinating Sports Relief in school as it is an amazing initiative to raise money as well as for people of all ages to enjoy getting active.

“This year has been the most exciting Sports Relief at Bradford Academy with plenty of activities taking place. The most exciting has been the ‘Charity Mile’ as Matt Diskin came to take part.”
