Half Term Fun
On the Tuesday and Wednesday of the half term break, 50 learners came into school to enjoy a range of activities organised by the pastoral team.
From culture in Saltaire to a treasure hunt in school, learners were kept occupied while engaging in sporting and creative activities.
Kabir Hameed, Lead Behaviour Director, commented: “It’s always brilliant to see the learners in a more relaxed environment where they really engage with the staff. It’s very easy to become bored during the school breaks and so it’s important that we are able to provide some of our learners with these opportunities. This summer break will be even bigger and better. I have so much planned!”
The summer school activities will be run across a two week period in August. The Academy hopes to expand this offering to more of our learners in the future with the potential of organised activities during every school break.
