We are absolutely delighted with how our students have performed this year in their GCSE and BTEC Level 2 examinations. Almost half of our students have reached the old measure of at least five A*-C grades including English and mathematics. Even more importantly is the progress our young people have made from their different starting points with the government’s key ‘Progress 8’ measure significantly up on last year and indicating that students make excellent progress at Bradford Academy. This is all the more remarkable considering the school is non-selective and has a genuinely comprehensive intake.
Our students have also performed brilliantly across many subject areas. This reflects our continued emphasis on providing a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the differing needs, aspirations and interests of our learners.
These fantastic results are a reflection of the hard work and resilience of our students supported by our dedicated team of teachers and support staff who together really do strive to achieve the school’s ambition of outstanding progress for all students. We also appreciate the support that parents have provided during their children’s time with us, it is this partnership between home and school that is the foundation for our success.
We now look forward to receiving these successful students into our amazing Sixth Form where we know they will flourish.
