To allow Year 7 learners to build and enhance relationships within their Core groups, they were taken to Sconce Scout Park in Baildon to spend a day taking part in a range of activities.
They went on a two hour hike where they saw Neolithic drawings, ate berries and showed real resilience. All learners then took part in a range of team building tasks showing great collaboration and empathy.
One of the learners commented: “It was so much fun. I had to work with people in my group who I hadn’t really talked to before and so that’s really good. The walk was really long but you didn’t notice at the time.”
