The first Progress Update Review (PUR) of this academic year is fast approaching (15th November 2016) and parents are asked to confirm appointments if they have not already done so.
A letter has been sent home with learners inviting parents and carers to book their PUR appointments for all three events. This should then be returned to school by the learner.
PUR is an event where parents and carers come into the academy to meet with their child’s learning guide to discuss their academic progress. It is held three times a year and entails a discussion about learners’ progress, behaviour, attendance.
It is an important part of Bradford Academy’s ethos as it allows a two-way dialogue between the school and home. It is essential to give parents an update of how learners are developing during their time in education.
We are delighted to welcome you to the first PUR on Tuesday 15th November from 1:30 – 7.00pm.
