Last week, 40 Bradford Academy learners were invited to watch Manchester United’s match against Feyenoord where they won 4-0.
This is the fourth year that Bradford Academy learners have visited Old Trafford after Gareth Dawkins endeavoured to make it an annual event to inspire learners through high level sport.
Kabir Hameed, Lead Behaviour Director, commented: “Many of our learners enjoy watching and playing football and so this is a huge reward for them. What they usually don’t realise before the trip is the dedication and focus that these elite sportspeople have. We also talk about all the jobs surrounding these matches and how you don’t just need to aspire to be on the pitch.”
