Science London Trip

 Learners in London

Just before Christmas, 32 Year 11 learners went on the annual Science trip to London to have a more practical experience of the topics they have been studying.

The learners enjoyed visits to the Greenwich Observatory Planetarium, the Science Museum and Queen Mary’s University ‘Centre of the Cell’ centre where they met current medical and STEM PhD students for some careers advice.

They also had a night flight on the London Eye, taking in the sights including London Bridge, the Cutty Sark, Canary Warf and the Tower of London as well as many learners first experience of the London Underground.
