Bradford Academy raised hundreds of pounds last week in aid of the Red Nose Day appeal.
Saqib in Year 10 individually raised over £100 running a tuck shop at break time. He has been doing this for the last few weeks as part of his Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award but last Friday, he agreed to donate the proceeds to the cause.
Other activities during break time included: leg waxing of male teachers, a bun sale, a chocolate tombola and penalty shootout.
Members of staff took part in a ‘Zorb Football’ competition after school which was run by the PE department. This involved putting the top half of their bodies inside a large inflatable ball and playing a game of football.
Primary also raised money through a non-uniform day and the sale of official ‘Red Noses’ and buns.
