Premier Farnell Technology College

Bradford Academy will participate in a Yorkshire-wide Technology Challenge organised by Premier Farnell and Leeds Beckett University.

The Premier Farnell Technology Challenge aims to provide students with the tools they will need to pursue careers in digital and tech-focused industries through developing practical skills in coding and robotics.

Working in teams of five, our students will be tasked with devising a piece of ‘assistive technology’ to address a specific real world concern faced by people with physical and sensory impairments. They will be provided with kit and invited to attend a number of workshops before presenting their final designs at a regional final to be held in early December.

For more information on this challenge, please contact Nicole Todd, our Key Stage 5 Leader of IT, who will be supervising this project.
