Bradford Academy releases first Gender Pay Gap Report

Bradford Academy has released its first Gender Pay Gap Report and there are positives to celebrate. The Academy is female led and the top 10 female earners earn more than the top 10 male earners. There is an even split of males and females in the top pay quartile. Although the headline mean and median averages reveal a pay gap this is largely due to the number of female staff occupying lower salaried roles which is reflective of the education sector and wider society. The Academy is committed to employing the best staff regardless of gender, race, disability, age or sexual orientation and equality of opportunity is at the forefront of what we do. #rolemodelforlearners
