Admissions
The Academy’s admissions policy is part of the agreement between
the sponsors of the Academy and the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF). The arrangements for pupils who will join the Academy in
September 2008 will be co-ordinated by the Bradford Local Education
Authority (LEA), as they are for all Bradford’s maintained schools.
Under the agreement with the DCSF, the Academy will comply with the
School Admissions Code of Practice and the School Admission Appeals
Code of Practice, which apply to maintained schools and the law on
admissions as it applies to maintained schools.
