Curriculum - Key Stage 3
Considerable emphasis will be placed on the National Curriculum Core Subjects of:
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- Information & Communications Technology.
These subjects, collectively will have 50% of learning time available.
All students also follow a common programme, which covers the requirements of the National Curriculum at Key Stage 3, studying, in addition to the core:
- Technology
- Art
- Geography
- History
- Religious Education
- Modern Foreign Languages
- Performing Arts
- Physical Education
In addition students have a period each week to follow a tutorial programme of Personal and Social Education, which includes elements of Citizenship and Enterprise, Careers and Health and Relationships Education.
