Earrings must be removed for PE to ensure injuries to the ear lobe do not occur. Plasters cannot be used.

Having asthma is not a reason to be withdrawn from PE. If asthma inhalers are kept up to date exercise is an advantage to sufferers as it develops capacity in the affected areas.

Pumps must be worn indoors to reduce wet surfaces in school after play times and because all classes have carpet areas for the children to sit on. Outdoor shoes are a health hazard when used on areas used for seating.
