Exam and Assessment Results

We are delighted to share with you our examination results from this summer. Staff and students have worked hard to secure improvements in all the key benchmarks used for measuring student progress.

Post-16

Our students in the sixth-form have done exceptionally well with results that have led to successful placements at university, apprenticeships and employment.

The headlines for 2016 are as follows:

100 % A*-E rate in A2 qualifications

100 % Pass rate at BTEC Level 3 qualifications

Destinations

77% students secured a place at university this year with destinations across the country and a wide variety of courses including 8 Russell Group University places secured. Many of our students are successful in securing their first choice of university.

Many of our level 2 students who stayed in our sixth-form for three years in order to progress to level 3 have gained places at university demonstrating that with hard work and determination, at the Academy, anything is possible.
