Term 1
Key Learning Objectives Know and understand how the body is organised. Know and understand how plants and animals reproduce.
Key Activities / Homework’s Throughout the term, learners will complete a range of activities which will include exam style questions, posters and scientific reports. Learners will dissect plants stain cells and use microscopes to identify organelles, tissues and organs in plants and animals.
Assessments Each half term all learners will complete a levelled assessment task which will be directly linked to the key learning objectives for the term. Each half term learners will complete an end of topic assessment
