Teacher of Maths Vice Principal for Teaching & Learning
After completing a Mathematics
degree at the University of Warwick I decided to become a teacher and completed
my PGCE at the University of Cambridge.
Since then I have worked predominantly in Bradford gaining nearly 20
years of experience. I joined Bradford
Academy as a Lead Practitioner in 2011 and have progressed through various
senior leadership roles to Vice Principal.
Through this time I have also become a Specialist Leader of Education
As Vice Principal for Teaching
and Learning I strategically lead a team of senior and middle leaders to make
sure learners are provided with an excellent standard of education. Working
alongside the other Vice Principals I look to bring the vision of the Academy
into reality. This is done through the
performance management of staff, quality assuring teaching and learning across
the Academy and providing professional development for all.
I hope our students develop into
outstanding learners growing into good people when they leave Bradford Academy;
becoming hardworking individuals with moral purpose who are humble and content
with whatever life brings them having successful futures.
