COVID-19 Message from Executive Principal. 20/03/20 @14:00

Parents/carers

As you are already aware, Bradford Academy will close from today until further notice. As directed by the government, we will operate to provide childcare only to those learners where there is no safe alternative and who fall into the vulnerable category (contacted by us) and children of key workers.

Unfortunately we will not be able to offer this service until Wednesday 25th March.  This is because a member of staff with symptoms concurrent with Coronavirus has fallen ill and in order to ensure the health and safety of staff and students I am required to follow the government advice to deep clean the building.

Over the next few days, staff will contact parents who are eligible to access the childcare provided at Bradford Academy and who may attend from Wednesday.  From Wednesday, we will also be delivering to those eligible for Free School Meals, a grab bag.

Please be assured we will be making contact with learners who are at home, as we have been during our recent partial closure. We will continue to use weduc to communicate key messages with you and we have also added a Covid-19 Information tab on our landing page.  Please check this every day for updates and also to access online resources.
