We now have further information on the provision we will be
required to provide from Monday 23rd March. We have been asked to
provide for learners in a number of categories:
Children with an EHCP
Children of key workers defined as clinical NHS staff, Teachers (including support staff), Nursery Nurses, Police Officer and community support officers, Civilian police staff, Prison officers and prison staff, Probation service staff, Social workers, Educational Psychologists and Therapists, Local Authority planners, Fire Fighters, Connexions personal advisers, Ministry of defence personnel, environmental health officers, delivery drivers, highway agency staff.
We will contact you directly if we believe you child falls
into the ECHP and vulnerable category and explain what to do next.
All other parents/carers will receive a text with a short
survey asking questions which will help us to identify which children will be
attending. Once we have identified the group, we will then communicate with you
separately about how the provision will look and the next steps. You will
appreciate that we have had to plan this very quickly and so things may change
as a result of the rapidly changing situation.
I am attending a meeting at the local authority this
afternoon to hear details of the emergency plan. I will share this with
you on the Covid-19 page on our website and through Weduc.
We have a number of exciting opportunities in Technology, Science, MFL, Maths, English, Geography, Humanities, Religious Studies, Alternative Provision, Key Stage 2 & LAs. Join us for our Recruitment Evening on Wednesday 26th February (4-6pm).
