After School Clubs
We understand that children need a wide range of
experiences beyond the classroom in order to achieve their full potential. We
have a commitment to developing the whole child and providing learners with new
experiences and developing a higher level of expertise in particular skills.
Our clubs are inclusive and we aim for children from a range of backgrounds to
attend as many clubs as possible.
A variety of activities are offered for 1 – 1½ hours
after school rotating each term covering areas in
- Physical activity (sport and performance)
- Art and craft
are informed of the club offers for their child’s year group for the following
half-term. These places are offered on a first-come-first-served basis. There
is no charge for clubs.
Children experience new activities and this means that they
are achieve success away from the classroom. Children develop transferable
skills, such as, teamwork, resilience and perseverance. Children experience
competition in a non-threatening environment preparing them for external
competitions and challenge.
