As a Church of England designated Academy, we strive to exemplify Christian Values through our work; reverence, wisdom, thankfulness, humility, endurance, service, compassion, trust, peace, forgiveness, friendship, justice, hope, creation and koinonia. We believe that learners who can live these values will have an impact in their communities and the world in which they live. We are preparing learners for a better world.
We support our learners on their journey and guide them depending on their aspirations, working tirelessly to develop each member of our community holistically. Within the framework of a distinctive Christian character, we promote personal faith as a dynamic, relevant force in our learners’ lives. As part of this we provide opportunities for Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) learning across all aspects of school life and in every phase, in order for learners to acquire the skills, confidence and resilience needed to succeed. We translate this into four simple but important words KNOWN, VALUED, UNDERSTOOD AND GUIDED
Since we opened our doors in 2007, we have been on a mission to transform the life chances of our learners. We are deeply rooted in our community and are privileged to have the opportunity to serve it by providing high quality education from the age of two to nineteen, by providing a community facility for local residents and groups and by bringing partners together through our mutual drive for improvement. We believe that our learners can achieve anything through hard work, commitment and passion and we believe it is our job to realise their ambitions.
