Art
At Bradford Academy, our art curriculum nurtures, encourages and builds on creativity and ensures that our children have the opportunity to be taught the skills of a creative subject. Art will be taught as a specific subject, as well as being integrated into other aspects of the primary curriculum.
As an all through academy, the children will have many opportunities to experience art with specialists throughout their primary journey.
Art activities will encourage our artists to:
- respond to the world around them;
- respond to their individual feelings and emotions;
- develop and use their imagination;
- express their ideas, thoughts and feelings;
- solve problems;
- become more aesthetically aware.
