Collective Worship

Collective Worship forms an important part of Bradford Academy’s day. Starting with morning reflection, pupils are asked to think about a range of questions, quotes, verses or thoughts to promote spiritual, moral and cultural development. We acknowledge that the school has a collection of different individuals and beliefs, and our collective worship considers this being inclusive of all faiths along with those not committed to any particular faith. Collective worship is educational and children are invited to contribute their thoughts and beliefs to those of others, bringing explanation and understanding. Children are invited to worship, through songs, meditation or creativity and a optional prayer is used to conclude sessions.
